Gainz Fitness Center brings 24/7 health club and MMA training to Hamilton, Ohio

Gainz Fitness Center is a 36,000 sq. ft. gym located at 1204 Main St. in Hamilton, Ohio. The Center, described as “where Health Club meets MMA gym”, offers a state of the art fitness facility, old school iron gym, and high level mixed martial arts training under one roof.

The facility contains cardio machines, two cardio rooms (one with a half court), a large free weight area, Dollamur mats, boxing ring, cage panels and a full cage, heavy bag racks with 14 heavy bags, TRX stations, 2 saunas, 5 tanning beds, a massage bed, kid care area and a lounge.

“Some gyms brag about not being a gym, well at Gainz Fitness Center we are a gym,” reads their website. “Our trainers will correct you if you are using the machines incorrectly. Our trainers will push you past your limits, our coaches will get to know you and how far you can go.”

The Center offers classes in MMA, Muay Thai, Boxing, BJJ and Wrestling and the facility is open 24-hours seven days a week. All of Gainz’s coaches have professional fight experience. Professional boxer and pro MMA fighter Jonathon “JC” Clemons, Gracie Barra BJJ black belt Jason Martin, Judo black belt Jason Saylor and 10th Planet BJJ purple belt Sam Davis are the instructors at Gainz Fitness Center.

“I was living in Malaysia for the past few years teaching at the SSF location there,” said coach Clemons. “When coach Ron [Dayley] called and told me about Gainz and asked if I wanted to return to the USA and help manage it, it was a no brainer. This gym is a fighter’s dream come true, I’ve never seen another MMA gym so well equipped.”

Gainz is in the process of becoming a 10th Planet gym and building an additional 6000 sq. ft. area for “fighters only/SSF Submission Academy” training which is by invite only. This section should be done by the the end of this year. All of Gainz’s fighters are managed and trained by SSF.

“When we came up with the concept of Gainz Fitness Center, I wanted to allow fighters to have everything they needed in one location,” stated SSF founder Ron Dayley. “We have all the weight training equipment, cardio machines, saunas, boxing ring, MMA cage, management and extra perks like tanning and massage beds. I also wanted it to be affordable for the fighters so we decided that everything should be all inclusive and only cost $49 a month.”
