Because Luke Rockhold talked a lot of smack before UFC 221 it made his opponent go to a dark place. No not the dark place GSP said he went to before his bout with Nick Diaz. Romero put Luke on his “Blacklist” which is a naughty list of people he wants to annihilate. He spoke to MMAFighting’s MMA Hour and expounded. Check it out.
Jeff Jarrett was once in the dog house with Vince McMahon for holding him up for hundreds of thousands of dollars. He was leaving WWE for WCW and was scheduled to drop the intercontinental title to Chyna on a PPV but his conditions for doing so were kind of unreasonable. He wanted what he said were hundreds of thousands of dollars of back pay. Long story short, when Vince bought WCW one of the first things he did was fire Jeff Jarrett on air. Now, years later he’s welcomed JJ in to this year’s hall of fame class. Check out what Jarrett said to TMZ about it.
Nate Diaz is a baller. At UFC Fight Night 126 we got a shot of legendary not giving a damn Stockton native Nathan Diaz pulling out a blunt and preparing to light it. It doesn’t get any more gangster than that. Check it out.
Derrick Lewis is a beast and if you don’t believe us just ask Marcin Tybura. At UFC Austin, Lewis sent Tybura to the canvas to count the lights and with the win he moves closer to title contention. Check out all of the action below.
UFC Austin is in the books and the main event delivered. In it, Cowboy Cerrone scored a TKO victory over Yancy Medeiros and put him one or two wins from title shot yet again. Check out all of the action from the event.
The new Marvel movie Black Panther has been released and it is very well received. There are some very unreasonable liberals and conservatives making a big deal out of a superhero movie. Joe Rogan addressed on his podcast what a lot of Americans are confused by. This is spot on. Check it out.
Here we go. Reign supreme. It is all over. Tale of the tape. You get the drift here. Ever since he was released from the UFC with zero fanfare Mike Goldberg has been missed. His catch phrases were iconic, cliche but iconic and his voice was unmistakeable. With the recent events seemingly lacking in excitement at the broadcast booth, Goldberg gives his take on the situation. Check it out.
UFC 221 is in the books and despite a title fight that was tarnished by the fighter who missed weight winning it was good overall. The Fight Motion video for the event really shows how brutal some of these fights were and watching Yoel Romero pummel Luke Rockhold in the main event there was no question Luke was going to fall. Check it out.
No one knows what possessed Yoel Romero to walk across the cage and kiss Luke Rockhold after knocking him out at UFC 221 or how officials let him get there in the first place. What we do know is that it was uncomfortable, unnecessary, and just down right bizarre. In this preview for the Thrill and Agony video of the event we get a good look at what was said and how it went down. Check it out.
Rashad Evans is one of the most memorable fighters to step in to the Octagon. He won the second season of TUF and provided a scary highlight reel kick shortly thereafter that obliterated Sean Salmon and will be replayed in the best knockout videos forever. He was the light heavyweight champion for a minute until Lyoto Machida brutally knocked him out. His feud with Rampage may have ended in a lackluster fight but the build up will stay with us. Now, at the end of his career he almost seems sad and so are we. Check out what he had to say about preparing for it on The MMA Hour recently.
