Even Chael Sonnen was convinced Mayweather was really fighting in RIZIN

Oh, Chael. Sometimes you are too trusting. First we all thought Floyd Mayweather Jr was fighting in RIZIN until he got amnesia today about the type of bout it was, and the audience, and the rules, and and and. He was convincing though, he really was. He was so convincing that Chael P Sonnen himself thought it was going to happen. In the video posted 14 hours before we reported that Mayweather was out of the RIZIN bout, Sonnen was certain it was going to happen. Watch this and you may be convinced it still might.

VIDEO: Mayweather is fighting a world class kickboxer and it’s real

At RIZIN 14 on New Year’s Eve we won’t be seeing TMZ videos of Floyd Mayweather Jr running the streets of Las Vegas at 3 AM. Instead we will see the boxing great fighting one of the world’s best kickboxers on the planet in Tenshin Nasukawa. Floyd said he would fight outside of boxing and most just blew the comments off as self promotion but here we are.
