Johnson still wants Dillashaw fight and calls the UFC out

UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson still wants to fight UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw. He spoke on the MMA Hour about it and called out the UFC to make the fight. The craziest part of it all? DJ doesn’t want to be McGregor 2.0 or another two division champion. In other words, he doesn’t want TJ’s bantamweight belt. Cyborg still wants Amanda Nunes at UFC 226

UFC women’s featherweight champ Cris Cyborg vs bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes may be on hold for now but Cris still wants to face her. She sees the bout potentially taking place at UFC 226 however unlikely the scenario may be. Nunes is slated to defend against Racquel Pennington at UFC 224 in May so who knows if the stars will align. Check out what Cris said to MMAFighting.

Gus says DC played it safe picking Stipe

Alexander Gustafsson lost at UFC 192 to Daniel Cormier. It was a shot at the light heavyweight title despite Gustafsson losing to Anthony Johnson the fight prior. Gus bounced back from the consecutive losses though with two consecutive wins. He knocked out serial killer Glover Teixeira in his last fight and it looked like a rematch with DC was in the works. Enter the UFC and their “money fights”. DC is now slated to fight heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic which leaves Gus out in the cold. Check out what he had to say on The MMA Hour.

Wait what?! Woodley says he’s training Floyd for MMA

Wait what?! UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley says he’s training, or going to be training Floyd Mayweather Jr. for his MMA debut. Sonnen says Lombard broke no rules against Dollaway

The American Gangsta Chael P. Sonnen says Hector Lombard did not break any rules against CB Dollaway. Hector hit CB twice after the buzzer but it was close enough where a small minority wants to give him a pass. The referee did not get in between Dollaway and Lombard in time and as a result CB was knocked silly and could not continue.
