Bellator 215 highlights including Mitrione’s fight ending cup check

Bellator 215 is in the books.

We wish we could say that the main event between Sergei Kharitonov and Matt Mitrione was the war we hoped it would be but we can’t.

Up until the main event it was a pretty solid event in terms of action. Then it all went wrong. One of the nastiest cup shots we’ve seen in a while forced the fight to come to an end when Kharitonov could not continue.

In case you weren’t excited for Bellator 216 we present the weigh-ins streamed earlier today. Michael Page and Paul Daley have what appears to be genuine animosity so maybe that’s why they got the nod for the main event spot over Roy Nelson vs Mirko Cro Cop. Check out the full video and get hype!

Former UFC heavyweight champion and Joe Rogan’s GOAT Cain Velasquez returns to action for UFC on ESPN 1 on Sunday. He faces power puncher Francis Ngannou in a main event that should be a firefight. Cain is not impressed by White’s Ngannou punching power to car comparison

Dana White once was in love with how hard Francis Ngannou hit people. Since then he has soured a bit and so have a lot of others. One person who was never impressed it would seem is his opponent for Sunday’s UFC on ESPN 1, Cain Velasquez.
