VIDEO: Watch Cain Velasquez crush the mitts during open workouts

Former UFC heavyweight champion and Joe Rogan’s GOAT Cain Velasquez returns to action for UFC on ESPN 1 on Sunday. He faces power puncher Francis Ngannou in a main event that should be a firefight. Velasquez has been out of action since mid 2016 and a lot of questions about recovery and ring rust will be answered. Cain is not impressed by White’s Ngannou punching power to car comparison

Dana White once was in love with how hard Francis Ngannou hit people. Since then he has soured a bit and so have a lot of others. One person who was never impressed it would seem is his opponent for Sunday’s UFC on ESPN 1, Cain Velasquez. Heavyweight contenders Francis Ngannou and Curtis Blaydes square off in Beijing, China on Saturday. In their first go round in 2016 Ngannou came out on top via TKO albeit by doctor stoppage.
