Dern vs Cooper UFC 224 highlights

McKenzie Dern came in seven pounds overweight for her bout with Amanda Cooper. This is the second bout in a row she missed weight and had to fight her opponent at a catchweight. Dern has missed weight in five of her seven total fights. In spite of the setback she was successful in submitting Amanda in the first round. Her hype train is still chugging along but not as fast as before given the second failed weight cut.

Nunes post fight press conference comments about Pennington’s corner weren’t good

Racquel Pennington was finished in the fifth round by bantamweight champ Amanda Nunes despite telling her corner after the fourth she was done. They sent her back in and she was knocked out shortly after. In Amanda’s post fight interview she said what most were thinking in that Pennington’s corner should have listened instead of forcing her back out there.

Namajunas has no class in response to McGregor and we are okay with it

“Thug Rose” aka UFC women’s strawweight champ Rose Namajunas shut down a legitimate apology from Conor McGregor for the McBus attack. The Irishman and his cronies went ballistic before UFC 223 and used objects to smash windows on a bus carrying fighters including Rose Namajunas.
