Here’s the UFC 229 hype video featuring bus attack footage

Conor McGregor vs lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is one month away and the hype train has left the station for UFC 229. Back around UFC 223 you may remember, if you happened to be on the internet anywhere at anytime, there was a very violent bus attack by McGregor and some of his cohorts. Khabib was the intended target but there was collateral damage as the attack sent a few fighters to the hospital. It also shook up UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas enough where she rarely goes out anymore so when we saw the attack was being used as promotional material we were a tad stunned. Conor McGregor’s appearance in a New York court room lasted 45 seconds to 2 minutes depending on who you listen to. Conor was there to answer for the UFC 223 bus attack and he is reportedly working on a plea deal with the district attorney to avoid jail time. Namajunas has no class in response to McGregor and we are okay with it

“Thug Rose” aka UFC women’s strawweight champ Rose Namajunas shut down a legitimate apology from Conor McGregor for the McBus attack. The Irishman and his cronies went ballistic before UFC 223 and used objects to smash windows on a bus carrying fighters including Rose Namajunas. Khabib Nurmagomedov is the lightweight champion but it didn’t stop people from complaining. His team and some of his hardcore fans accused Joe Rogan of “biased” commentary in his match with Al Iquinta at UFC 223 but Rogan stands by his comments. In the later rounds Joe Rogan commentated that Khabib had some visible cracks in his game and most fans agreed that they were there.
