Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar could be free from his WWE contract soon. Former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones could be back from a suspension soon. If all of the pieces fall into place, Dana White wants to make a Brock Lesnar versus Jon Jones fight and I can honestly say that is a super fight I would love to see.

It happened overnight. MMA and the UFC’s biggest star suddenly disappeared from the face of the Earth for months. Rumor after rumor came out, speculating on the the UFC heavyweight champion’s future. And just as fast as he vanished, Brock Lesnar returned to the spotlight today.
Following his appearance on ESPN SportsCenter this morning, he and UFC President Dana White held a conference call for the media. This gave the MMA websites and news outlets an opportunity to dig deeper, and ask about all the details surrounding Lesnar and his recovery.

UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar (4-1), accompanied by UFC President Dana White, appeared on ESPN SportsCenter this morning, giving his first interview since being sidelined last fall with diverticulitis.
Lesnar explained the details surrounding his illness, how he was first diagnosed with mononucleosis, then later, up in Canada, they realized he actually had diverticulitis, and diverticulosis. In short, the champ had a hole in his stomach.
The doctors said he would have to have a surgery that would end his career, and would result in him having to wear a colostomy bag. The only other choice was, if he could somehow heal himself naturally.
According to Greg Nelson, Brock Lesnar’s coach from Minnesota Martial Arts Academy, the current UFC Heavyweight Champion will be back.
