When Resurrection Fighting Alliance returns to kick off 2014 it will do so by airing the first televised female bout between strawweights Justine Kish and  Randa Markos Thomas. This fight will take place at RFA 12 that goes down January 24th and will air live on AXS TV.

The crew at RFA has long been a supporter of women in the sport. Jessamyn Duke, Gina Begley, Heather Bassett and more have had their opportunity to fight for one of the fasting growing companies in the business. This will be the sophomore outing for Kish as she defeated Christine Stanley at RFA 9 with a slick arm bar. The Muay Thai champion Kish has actually netted two of her three wins by way of submission. She was most recently in action back in November when she picked up a unanimous decision over Jin Tang.

Randa Markos Thomas (3-0) will make her promotional debut and will look to extend her current three fight winning streak. Her resume reads almost identical to her opponents. She too has won two of three fights by way of submission. The Canadian based fighter went 2-0 in 2013 with wins over Ashley Nichols and Kara Kirsh.

RFA 12 goes down at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles on January 24th. The night is headlined by two title fights as Keoni Koch will meet Brian Ortega for the featherweight championship and bantamweight champion Pedro Munhoz will defend his title against Billy Daniels. The main card will air live on AXS TV.
