[ads2]UFC_166_posterThe UFC 166 PPV event is set to take place on October 19 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, and will feature the UFC heavyweight title fight between champion Cain Velasquez (12-1) and challenger Junior dos Santos (16-2). This will be the third fight between the two fighters with both fighters winning one fight each.

Dos Santos became the first fighter to defeat Velasquez at the inaugural UFC on FOX 1 event in November 2011. Dos Santos knocked out Velasquez in just 64 seconds to become the new UFC heavyweight champion. He defended the title once before Velasquez regained the title from him at UFC 155 in December 2012 with a dominant unanimous decision victory.

The UFC Primetime shows are usually reserved for highly anticipated fights and this one is no different as it features the two best heavyweights in the world today. The show will take us behind the scenes as each fighter puts the final touches on their training camps before doing battle on October 19.

The first of three episodes will air on October 2nd on FOX Sports 1 at 8:30 p.m. ET. You can find more information on the UFC 166 fight card here.
