If you haven’t heard already, Tim Kennedy will not be fighting  Lyoto Machida at the UFC’s Fight for the Troops 3 in November. Machida was moved to face Mark Munoz after an injury removed Michael Bisping from the card and Munoz was in need of an opponent. This left UFC newcomer Tim Kennedy in need of an opponent. So he took it into his own hands, and began a tirade of hilarious Twitter call outs, find some below:

I think @ShogunRua dresses like a Brooklyn pimp (not the classy kind). I should give him a lesson in style and fighting. @ufc FFTT 3 Nov 6th

I wanted to point out to Mr. @thalesleites that my last 3 opponents were from Brazil & they “fell through”perhaps you would actually show up

News flash!!! @nickdiaz209 I stole your pot, and bicycle. If you want them back you have to come out of retirement and fight me @ufc Nov 6th

So after a crazy night of calling out a who’s who in the mixed martial arts world, the UFC finally announced that Kennedy would be fighting Rafael Natal on the November 6th Fight for the Troops 3 card. This is in my  opinion not the most intriguing of fights, but both men are hungry to move up the Middleweight rankings.

Natal is coming off a one sided decision win of The Ultimate Fighter 17 contestent Tor Troeng on the Ultimate Fight Night 28 card in Brazil. While Tim Kennedy is coming off a snoozer of a win over multiple time Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Champion and former Strikeforce fighter Roger Gracie.

The fight will take place as mentioned on November the 6th, 2013 on the Fort Campbell Military Base in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Both men are looking to add one more notch in the victory column and get a little closer to the ever elusive shot at the Middleweight Championship.
