The UFC Fight Night 28: Teixeira vs. Bader full card

The UFC Fight Night 28 event will take place on Wednesday night and will be headlined by the light heavyweight bout between rising contender Glover Teixeira and TUF 8 winner Ryan Bader. The card will take place in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, at the Mineirinho Arena.

Teixeira (21-2) is coming off a first round destruction of James Te Huna in his last outing at UFC 160. He has won four consecutive fights, including a unanimous decision win over former champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson in January.

Bader (14-3) is also coming off a quick first round win over Vladimir Matyushenko in his last outing at the UFC on FOX 6 event in January. Bader has won three of his last four and also has a unanimous decision win over Jackson during that time span.

The co-main event will feature a middleweight bout between former number one contender Yushin Okami (29-7) and former Strikeforce middleweight champion Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (18-3-1).
