This last weekend was an experience that very few others in their lives can say they have experienced. Many people seek fame, desire their 15 minutes of fame (I think that number has changed with today’s media and entertainment), or yearn for the spotlight.
Transgender MMA fighter Fallon Fox has made it very clear her goal is to one day fight for Invicta Fighting Championships. If that day ever happens and she signs with Invicta, one person that won’t be there to watch is her manager Brett Atchley.
With AXStv’s signing of Championship Fighting Alliance to their roster of regional MMA programming, transgender MMA fighter Fallon Fox (2-0) will make her national television debut next month when she takes on Allanna Jones (2-1) at CFA 11 in Coral Gables, Fla.

The guys start off by discussing transgender MMA fighter Fallon Fox and recent controversial comments made by UFC color commentator Joe Rogan about her. In addition, the guys talk about Georges St-Pierre’s UFC 158 performance and win over Nick Diaz and the “Organized Chaos” event taking place April 6 in Franklin, Tenn.
After winning her pro debut Ashlee Evans Smith now awaits the outcome of another type of battle. Smith defeated Tori Adams to advance to the semi-finals of Championship Fighting Alliance (CFA) women’s tournament but now awaits the outcome of the Fallon Fox situation. We all know the story so I’ll spare you the details.
Well I certainly have been surrounded by some enthusiastic chatter during my travels in MMA since my last entry. I had the pleasure of working in Miami last week covering the CFA show. It was a fantastic experience and I look forward to future events with them.
