The revamped Titan FC is ready to go for their sophomore edition on CBS Sports Network. With Vinny Magalhaes out with a nasty staph infection, Raphael Davis has been tapped to meet Jason Brilz in the headliner. Brilz has made the most of his post-UFC career with three consectutive wins including one knockout. Brilz was 3-4 during his tenure inside the Octagon but had a notable win over Tim Boetsch and a “fight of the night” bonus thanks to his efforts against Antônio Rogério Nogueira.
The television landscape just broadened once again as news being reported by MMAFighting.com and other outlets say that the Kansas City based promotion Titan FC has singed an agreement to be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. A debut on the network may be set for February 28th with a main event pitting two UFC veterans against each other. The Ultimate Fighter veterans Jorge Gurgel and Mike Ricci are set to meet in Kansas City.
Nick LoBosco (6-0) is riding quite a streak in his mixed martial arts career. He has jumped out to 10 straight wins with six of those coming in the professional ranks. In his last outing he dispatched his opponent in only 39 seconds, winning with a rear naked choke. He will now take his act to the World Series of Fighting and debut at WSOF 6 in Miami.
