It was a full night of action that had its highs and lows from Kansas City as Invicta FC returned for their seventh event. Before the event even started there was some turmoil. Claudia Gadelha was rushed to the hospital after weigh-ins with a bacterial infection. She was forced to withdraw from her title fight with Carla Esparaza.

Invicta FC 7 weigh-in results

It started off a little rough at Invicta FC weigh-ins this afternoon. The first two fighters both missed weight as Munah Holland came in at 128.0 and Nina Ansaroff was a 0.75 over the 126 pound mandate for the flyweight fight. After that it was smooth sailing as the remainder of the women hit their mark in preparation for tomorrow night’s Invicta FC 7.

Integrated Sports Media announced today that it will distribute Invicta Fighting Championships 7, featuring three world title fights, on pay-per-view in North America, Saturday night, December 7, live from Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri.

Women’s world championship Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion Invicta Fighting Championships will return to Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City with a stacked, nine-bout event featuring three world title fights, including a main event showdown between reigning flyweight champion Barb Honchak (8-2) of Bettendorf, Iowa and three-time “Fight of the Night” winner Leslie “The Peacemaker” Smith (6-3-1) of Pleasanton, Calif.

Invicta FC puts 3 titles on the line for announced December 7th event

Invicta Fighting Championships announced today that they will return to the Ameristar Casino and Hotel in Kansas City for their next event. Christmas comes earlier for WMMA fans as December 7th will be the date that three Invicta titles will be on the line and six additional fights to support them.
