The MMA Hour was FULL yesterday. Kevin Lee, Fedor Emelianenko, Chris Weidman, and Eddie Alvarez were on the program. An item of note was Chris Weidman’s prediction that he would dominate the middleweight division on his return. He was finished by Luke Rockhold and lost the middleweight title, then finished by Yoel Romero, and to top off a three fight skid he was finished by Gegard Mousasi. He bounced back and pulled off a submission win over Kelvin Gastelum. Was that the start of a comeback? Check out what he said…

Dustin Poirier may be on deck for him with a title shot on the line and we’re okay with that. Maybe that’s why he was all smiles in the Octagon after the victory?

UFC 216 is in the books, but we are still getting content for the night and we are grateful. Check out one of our favorite video series from the UFC featuring all of the action from the card – in brutal slow motion awesomeness. Oh, and it also has the ridiculous slam to armbar from Demetrious Johnson and that’s worth the watch on its own. Another technique to note is Tony Ferguson’s punch fake to elbow that Kevin Lee eats like a double cheeseburger after starving for three days. It’s awesome.
One of the tactics Tony Ferguson apparently used in his successful bout with Kevin Lee is to aim for a lump on his chest. Tony told TMZ that he honed in on what he thought was a staph infection on Lee’s chest and after the fight he took his newly won interim lightweight championship and jumped in the shower. Check it out.
