On Saturday, March 6, 2010, WEC heads to Columbus, Ohio with a stacked card headlined by a world bantamweight title fight between champion Brian Bowles and number one contender Dominick Cruz. All fighters successfully made weight today at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio, for UFC 96: JACKSON vs. JARDINE. UFC 96 features a main event light heavyweight bout between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Keith “The Dean of Mean” Jardine. Jackson came in right at the 205lbs. mark and Jardine was one pound under. In a highly anticipated heavyweight match-up, Shane Carwin at 259.5lbs., came in three pounds heavier than his opponent, Gabriel Gonzaga.
