The Bellator MMA Welterweight Tournament is set for Feb. 21 in Utah’s Maverik Center live on Spike TV. Bryan Baker will replace an injured Brent Weedman in the tournament and face off against Douglas Lima. Ben Saunders will take on Raul Amaya for a spot in the welterweight tournament finals.

ProMMAnow.com reporter Dr. Rhadi Ferguson was on the scene this past weekend in Tampa, Fla., for Bellator 72. The good Doctor caught up with fellow judo black belt Karl “Psycho” Amoussou following his devastating 56-second inverted heel hook submission win over Bryan Baker in the welterweight tournament finals.
Bellator’s Summer Series continues with Bellator 72 this evening at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Fla. Karl Amoussou and Bryan Baker square off in the Welterweight tournament final, and Paul Daley makes his Bellator debut against Rudy Bears. Also taking place are the Light Heavyweight tournament semifinals and a rematch between Marius Zaromskis and Waachiim Spiritwolf.
Bellator 72, which takes place this evening at the USF Sun Dome, features a welterweight tournament finale, two light heavyweight tournament semifinals as well as some interesting fights featuring UFC and Strikeforce veterans. As always the main card airs live on MTV2 and EPIX, while the undercard can been seen on Spike.com.
