Big Cass was slowly breaking out from the pack as a singles performer in WWE. He had won Vince McMahon’s favor and trust, separated from his tag team with Enzo Amore, and was starting a feud with Daniel Bryan. Then it all fell apart and it was announced a short time ago that he was released from the WWE, and now it appears he was straight up fired. He didn’t even get ‘future endeavored’.
Sports Illustrated is getting reports that that the reason Big Cass was fired by WWE was for unprofessional personal conduct and heavily drinking while WWE was in Europe. He was reportedly publicly intoxicated and acting in ways frowned upon by WWE. The biggest event reported so far is being drunk on a bus with other performers, getting stuck in the bathroom because the lock was broken, and then kicking the door down and breaking it. There are more incident reports that are coming out but we do not have verification on any of them as legit.
