Let me just say from the start, this is not fun to watch. Former UFC light heavyweight champ Jon “Bones” Jones broke the news on The MMA Hour Monday that he had been given five citations early Friday morning after getting stopped by Albuquerque police for an alleged drag racing incident.
Jones has been doing community service and trying hard to clean up his act after pleading guilty to a felony hit-and-run charge this past September. The 29-year-old former champion could have the felony wiped from his record if he is able to keep his nose clean for 18 months.
But what you are about to see certainly doesn’t help his cause any. However, let’s be honest, this cop seemed to be on a bit of power trip with his attitude. Hopefully Jones is able to get all this stuff cleared up before he tries to regain his title from Daniel Cormier on April 23 at UFC 197.

Part 2
Obviously we have no way of knowing whether Jones was actually drag racing. But what do you think, from what you can tell from the video was Jones in the right or wrong here?

The crap that police officers have to endure, and still be professional.
