pride 10_sakurabaAt Pride 10 in August 2000 in Saitama, Japan, Kazushi Sakuraba broke Renzo Gracie‘s arm and submitted him with a kimura. He had already beaten Royler and Royce Gracie before that and was henceforth known as “The Gracie Hunter”. Renzo said, “I failed Jiu-Jitsu that day.” But at Metamoris 5 on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, Renzo will get a shot at redemption as he faces Sakuraba once again. A lot of time has passed since they first fought — 14 years in fact. Renzo is now 47-years-old, and Sakuraba is 46. Will Renzo be able to deal with Sakuraba’s catch wrestling style this time around, or did Josh Barnett settle the argument at Metamoris 4 against Dean Lister that the shooters have the upper hand?
