The Bellator 117 weigh-ins took place today at Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the same location playing host to Friday’s fight card headlined with a Welterweight Title Fight and airing live on Spike TV.

All fighters on the main card made weight, including Rick Hawn (169.7 lbs.), the season 9 welterweight tournament winner, who will face season 8 welterweight tournament winner Douglas Lima (169.8 lbs.) for the vacant 170-pound strap in the night’s main event..

Bellator 117 also includes the season 10 lightweight tournament semifinals. The event will kick off at 6 p.m. CST with the prelims streaming LIVE on The main card will begin at 8 p.m. CST and will air LIVE on Spike TV.
