Bellator 115This Friday Cheick Kongo will be challenging Vitaly Minakov for the Bellator Heavyweight title! This card also contains the Middleweight and Welterweight tournament semifinals. Andrey Koreshkov vs Sam Oropeza is the Welterweight semifinal, Dan Cramer vs Jeremy Kimball is the Middleweight semifinal, and Johnny Cisneros vs Mikkel Parlo is your Middleweight feature fight. So let’s get down to business!

Johnny Cisneros vs Mikkel Parlo
Breakdown: Mikkel Parlo was last seen getting TKO’d by Middleweight tournament winner Brennan Ward. This will be Johnny Cisneros’ first fight under the Bellator banner after fighting multiple times for King of the Cage. I think Parlo has more experience on a bigger stage and this will give him the advantage he needs to get back on the winning track.
Result: Mikkel Parlo wins via 1st rnd TKO

Dan Cramer vs Jeremy Kimball
Breakdown: Kimball and Cramer are both coming off losses. Kimball was submitted by Perry Filkins, while Dan Cramer was knocked out by Brett Cooper. I expect Dan Cramer to use his wrestling, take this to the ground, and get the finish.
Result: Dan Cramer wins via 2nd rnd TKO

Andrey Koreshkov vs Sam Oropeza
Breakdown: Koreshkov is coming off of an impressive TKO victory over Nah-shon Burrell, while Oropeza is coming off an impressive TKO victory of his own, this one over Cristiano Souza. Both fighters look good in their last fights, but I’m going to have to go with Koreshkov. I believe he uses his movement and superior striking to take this one.
Result: Andrey Koreshkov wins via Unanimous Decision

Cheick Kongo vs Vitaly Minakov
Breakdown: Cheick Kongo ran through the opposition during his Bellator Heavyweight tournament run, but Vitaly Minakov has run through everyone in his career so far sporting a 13-0 record. Minakov has finished all but one of his opponents in his career. Kongo has seemed to have his career revived since joining Bellator, but im not buying it. Minakov will use his world classs Sambo skills to keep Kongo off balance and put an end to his career revival.
Result: Vitaly Minakov wins via Unanimous Decision

Well thats a wrap!
