[ads2]A WWE video has surfaced showing Dave Batista (1-0 MMA) looking in great shape. The video then shows a montage of highlights and ends by advertising his return to the WWE on January 20, 2014. Dave had left the WWE to pursue acting and to actively compete in MMA, but only fought once and found work scarce in Hollywood.
Batista’s one MMA fight in Rhode Island in 2012 was a TKO victory over Vince Lucero in the first round. Interesting to note is that despite its attempts to separate itself from MMA the WWE has two former MMA fighters in Brock Lesnar and Dave Batista. Granted Batista only had one fight and Lesnar’s last fight in the UFC was late 2011, but they were still two of the most hyped prospects in MMA along with another WWE alum Bobby Lashley.
Does this mean we might see Lashley back in the WWE now?
