[ads1]Patrick “HD” Barry. UFC heavyweight. Kickboxer from hell. Running-back legs. Seven of his eight wins have been by knockout. Three of those knockouts were due to leg kicks.
One thing Pat is not known for is his grappling. However, that is starting to change. We’ve seen his improved scrambles and submission defense in recent fights — and now my friends, Mr. Barry has done it. The man is submitting opponents.

Okay, it’s not an MMA fight but you gotta start somewhere and he’s doing the right thing by entering grappling competitions and continuing to work on his ground game. Now feast your eyes on this video of Pat Barry winning by armbar in a no-gi BJJ tournament in Colorado over the weekend (Masters level):
Looks like the skills of one Ms. Rose Namajunas is rubbing off on Mr. Barry. Both of Rose’s pro MMA wins have come via submission and she won gold in the Absolute Division over the weekend.
