The UFC 155 event saw 14 fighters receive medical suspensions according to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, and four of the fighters could be on the sidelines for up to six months.

ProMMAnow (www.prommanow.com) was notified of the suspensions by the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Monday.

Tim Boetsch, Alan Belcher, Michael Johnson, and Todd Duffee could all be out for up to six months. Boetsch suffered nasal fractures and must be cleared by a ear, nose, and throat specialist prior to returning to action. He suffered a third round TKO loss against Constantionos Philippou in a hard fought battle. Alan Belcher must have his right jaw x-rayed and cleared by a doctor before returning to action as well as his right knee. Belcher suffered a second unanimous decision defeat against Yushin Okami who had previously defeated Belcher at UFC 62. Michael Johnson suffered a left hand injury that must be cleared by a doctore prior to returning back to action. He suffered a unanimous decision loss to Myles Jury which ended a promising three fight winning streak in 2012. Todd Duffee was victorious in his UFC return but must have his left knee cleared by a doctor prior to returning to action. He defeated Phil de Fries via first round TKO.

It was rumored that Junior dos Santos suffered a broken jaw in the second round of his fight with Velasquez, but that rumor turned out to be false.
