Clarksville’s Nate “The Train” Landwehr (2-0) has drawn just as much attention from his antics and post fight interviews with ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) but it is hard to deny that this Tennessee featherweight has something special. Originally set to face Adam Townsend (1-0) at XFC 20 “High Octane” Landwehr agreed to fight Knoxville’s Chris Wright (6-2-1) as Townsend was forced to withdraw from the card due to injury.
What happened before the fight is documented in this video which was shot by an anonymous cameraman. You see some trash talk pre-fight before the walk out. During the fight Landwehr shows his strength when he executes one of the best slams seen in MMA. After referee Gary Copeland stops the fight you get to witness a big back flip and then some heated exchanges inside the cage. Landwehr said and XFC President John Prisco confirmed that he was offered a contract inside the cage after the fight.
