INDEPENDENCE, Mo.– The weigh-ins for Shark Fights 19 took place Friday afternoon at the Brew Top Pub and Patio in Independence, Mo. All fighters made weight with the exception of Kelvin Tiller who came in at 191 pounds, a full five pounds over the 186 pound non-title fight limit.

Headliner Ramario da Silva weighed in at 174 pounds, while his opponent Jaime Jara weighed in at 173 pounds. They will be fighting at a catchweight of 175 pounds.

Big shout out to ProMMAnow.com blogger Brian Imes and his boys from Hillbilly Fight Wear on this card; that would be Jeb Chiles and Aaron Mays.

Shark Fights 19 will take place Saturday, Sept. 10, at Independence Events Center in Independence, Mo., and will air via tape delay on FUEL TV beginning Sept. 30.

  1. A lesson was learned from Kelvin not making weight, but boy didnt he finish the fight in an awesome way..lesson learned.
