Can you hear what the American Psycho's cooking?

According to reports, the UFC is working towards a light heavyweight match up between Stephan Bonnar and Karlos Vemola. The bout is expected to be part of UFC Live 5, which reportedly takes place on Aug. 14 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

Bonnar broke the news of the contest through his Twitter account. MMALive Host Jon Anik also used the social media site to link the fight to the event.

After dropping three-straight fights, it appears as if Bonnar might be on his way out of the UFC. However, Dana White continually said that the TUF 1 veteran would have a job for life. At UFC 116, he turned his career around with a TKO victory over Krzysztof Soszynski and followed it up with a decision victory over Igor Pokrajac at the TUF 12 Finale.

Vemola built an undefeated 7-0 record as a heavyweight on the European circuit. In his UFC debut, he came up short against Jon Madsen and decided to drop to light heavyweight. In his first fight in the new weight class, he knocked out Seth Petruzelli in the first round.

The main card of UFC Live 5 will air live on the Versus network. The event will also mark the promotion’s first trip to Wisconsin.
