Labeled by UFC President Dana White as the “biggest heavyweight fight ever,” undefeated 12-0 Shane Carwin will try his best to take the crown away from UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar at UFC 116 on July 3 in Las Vegas.

Carwin has four fights so far in the UFC, all first round knockouts. He has finished every opponent he has ever faced in the first round. And for once, Lesnar is not going to have a size advantage.

If you ever wondered what is the secret to Carwin’s punching power, be sure to read our exclusive interview with Trevor Wittman, his boxing coach, whom Carwin credits for his hand skills.

One thing to remember is, every fight we’ve seen Lesnar in up until now, he wasn’t operating at his full potential due to his previous health issues.

This video also previews the UFC 116 co-main event between Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Chris Leben.

  1. If the fight goes anything like this preview it will be awesome for sure! Can’t wait to wear my UFC 116 Tee from Carnal DaMMAge.

  2. It’s too bad Wanderlai is injured. Would of been a great fight. Leben is a tough guy to take thus fight on such short notice.
