After appearing in court Thursday over an incident that took place at a Pacific Beach bar in San Diego in March, War Machine (formerly known as Jon Koppenhaver) posted this message on his Twitter Friday afternoon:
Weak! Looks like Ill be doing a year in San Diego County jail. Prolly gonna go in about 2 weeks..ugh. Gonna be SO boring! No delicious food, no training, no wifee, no friends. Whatever tho when I get out my partners and I will be opening our sick gym in Austin Texas and Ill be righ back to fighting. Jail is DUMB. All it does is press the PAUSE button on your life. What’s it supposed to teach you? Anyway, who knows some bad ass books I should read!?
The following video shows the bouncer from the bar testifying in court as War Machine and his lawyer listen. Actual security camera footage from the bar which caught the fight on video is shown as well. The bouncer describes War Machine’s actions as “Beyond aggressive … crazy almost.”
On a side note, if you are wondering about the “wifee” (wifey) comment above, on June 13 War Machine via Twitter said he tied the knot fast food style.
Just did a “drive thru” wedding in Vegas!!! Hahaha! Gonna do a real ceremony in a few months!!
