One hundred sixty hopefuls filed into Charleston MMA, all with the same dream and goal; to secure a multi-fight contract with the XFC. The talent in the room was plentiful, but when the smoke settled, there was one young fighter that stood out from the rest. President John Prisco and the XFC staff are proud to announce the XFC Open Tryout winner and newest member of the Welterweight Division, Danasabe Mohammed.
You only get one shot at a first impression, so, when Michigan’s own Dom O’Grady (16-6) decided he would introduce himself to the XFC, and it’s legion of fans, he planned to make an impression they won’t soon forget; and tapped out top contender Eric Reynolds. O’Grady is a true veteran of the sport. With a professional career dating back to 2007, O’Grady has been competing domestically and internationally for over six years. Between 2010 and 2012, O’Grady fought eight times for King of the Cage, with an unprecedented six of those eight bouts for promotional titles. From September to December of 2010, Dom held both the Lightweight and Welterweight KOTC title belts simultaneously.
Xtreme Fighting Championships (“XFC”) is pleased to announce that its’ joint venture partner, XFC International, has entered into a partnership with REDE TV [Open (Major Network) TV Brazilian Television Broadcaster], to launch the Mixed Martial Arts COPA in 2014. Fresh off the success of Night of Champions III in Nashville, Xtreme Fighting Championships has now set its sights on a new territory. December 13, 2013 will mark the traveling promotions first trip to the Northern U.S., when XFC 27: Frozen Fury invades Muskegon, Michigan. The weather outside will be frigid, but the action inside the LC Walker Arena will be red hot when XFC President John Prisco and crew treats the crowd to 12 action packed fights.
Justin Davis must be confident or crazy. Davis has agreed on short notice to step up and fight Luis Santos this Friday at XFC 26. Davis is 13-11 and coming off back to back losses but a win over Santos could put him back on the right track. Davis is a Strikeforce veteran who has fought a who’s who in the world of mixed martial arts.

Van Buren’s camp contacted the XFC early Tuesday morning to inform them of Brianna’s Flu like symptoms, and by late afternoon it was confirmed; Van Buren would not be cleared to compete at Night of Champions III on Oct 18th.
