A jam packed weekend of MMA is ahead of us as both Friday and Saturday night will play host to many year end events. UFC Fight Night 33, WSOF 7, Invicta FC 7 and many more will go down across the globe. Ahead of this busy weekend we will talk with a a few folks gearing up for success.
“XFC 24: Collision Course” takes place this evening at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Fla. In the main event Scott “Hotsauce” Holtzman faces John Mahlow for the XFC lightweight title. Mahlow was the XFC’s very first 155 pound champion several years ago and hopes to reclaim his former glory this evening, but standing in his way is Knoxville, Tennessee’s Holtzman who remains undefeated in his pro MMA career and is 4-0 in the XFC cage.
Another Tuesday night chalked full of interviews tonight as we bring some familiar names and new faces to the program. Summer is starting to heat up and so are the match ups in the Ohio Valley region. Over the last several weeks we’ve heard from fighters in 5 separate states and all of those who have since competed have won their fights!
I don’t even know where to start because the older I get the less I find myself wanting to share my life with women, unless it’s a weekend at a time. It’s been a while since my last relationship and fighting was probably the major force behind my last two break ups.
It’s time to fire up the Blog machine again, just in time for my next fight for the XFC June 14th in Tampa, Florida. The new title of my blog “My Stream of Consciousness”, is a very calculated attempt to inspire me to write on a more regular basis.
Xtreme Fighting Championships announces two more fighters headed for a June 14th Collision Course. Recent Lightweight Title contender Jason “The Ronin” Hicks is set to collide with, the always dangerous, Shah Bobonis, at the promotions much talked about homecoming show. The XFC’s 24th event takes place at the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida and can be seen Live on “Your Home for MMA”, AXS TV.
Bangtown Fightwear and Combat Sports Insurance power an all new episode of BluegrassMMA Live tonight. Surprisingly there is not a guest one from the Commonwealth. Several big events are on the horizon. This Friday we will be in Hilliard Ohio for Ohio Fighting Championship presents OFC 16: Scoby vs. Clark. Undefeated professional William Max Scoby joins us to talk about his main event scrap.
It seems a month doesn’t go by where we don’t hear of at least one positive test for banned substances in Mixed Martial Arts. Lots of different opinions on what needs to be done to clean the sport up float around but not much gets done in the way of change to the current norms.
Maybe it’s the fact that I’m starting to diet for my upcoming fight January 19th but numerous headlines in sports news and the reaction to these headlines by fans have really rubbed me the wrong way.
