UFC 166: Roy Nelson vs Daniel Cormier breakdown

Another heavyweight fight rounds out the main card of UFC 166, this time featuring heavy hitting Roy Nelson and the Olympian and Strikeforce Grand Prix Champion Daniel Cormier. This bout is pivotal for multiple divisions as Cormier says win or lose he’s going down to light heavyweight and it seems as if Nelson is preparing to do the same as he’s lost massive amounts of weight.

Why Cutting Palhares was the Right Move

First off, I want to say that I have a tremendous amount of respect for Rousimar Palhares as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and as a fighter; well at least I did before some of his recent antics. With that being said, Palhares is a complete and total scumbag; I think Chael’s next rant of despicable Brazilians should include Palhares for not only what he did recently to Pierce, but to a range of other competitors in the past.

Bellator 103 – Rosa vs Zayats breakdown

During the main card of the Bellator 103 fight card in Kansas we are going to see a war between two of Bellator’s best Light Heavyweights when Aaron Rosa takes on Mikhail Zayats. Rosa has fought at the highest level of the sports in both Strikeforce and the UFC having taken victories in both. Zayats on the other hand was the Runner-Up to the Season 8 Light Heavyweight tournament only losing to Emmanuel Newton in his Bellator career. So without any further interruptions here is my breakdown for the match up.

Bellator 103 – David Rickels vs J.J. Ambrose breakdown

Bellator is back with another Friday full of fightsand this time they take place in the Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas. David “The Caveman” Rickels takes on submission specialist J.J. UFC Fight Night 29 – Maia vs. Shields breakdown

On October 9th, 2013 the UFC comes back to Fox Sports 1 with a great free card headlined by a welterweight bout with title implications between Demian Maia and Jake Shields.
