Bellator_London_PosterBellator will be bringing their show to the UK for the first time ever at the O2 Arena in London, on July 16th and they plan to showcase some of the best up-and-coming talent that the British Isles has to offer.

The event will feature a headline bout between heavyweights Kimbo Slice and James Thompson and joining them on the main card will be Josh Koscheck against Paul Daley, Linton Vassell versus Francis Carmont, and Michael Page against Fernando Gonzalez.

Fans will also be treated to a recently announced heavyweight showdown between UK fighters Mark Godbeer and James Mulheron. Here is what Mark Godbeer, who has fought for Bellator before, had to say:

“I personally think Bellator is one of the leading organisations there is today; it’s a great honour to fight for them once again. Last time I fought off of the back of an 18 month lay-off due to a big injury and feel I wasn’t myself, so I’m glad to get another chance to show them the real me.” – Mark “The hand of” Godbeer

Aside from the main card, you can expect to see a whole host of rising talent competing on the preliminary card including Michael Shipman, Pietro Menga, Dean Garnett, Jason Radcliffe, Jack Mason, Chase Morton, Nathaniel Wood, Bola Omoyele and many more.
