Back in in 2013 actor Liev Schreiber was heavily rumored to be playing Chris Benoit in a movie called Crossface. The title comes from Benoit’s finishing move “Crippler Crossface”. In this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter they claimed that Schreiber has been announced for the movie, but no one has seen any confirmation yet. According to the report, the movie is reportedly being produced by SRG Films and is an adaptation of Matt Randazzo’s “Ring of Hell” book.
