Tonight’s show comes from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas. Daniel Bryan will face Kane tonight in a no disqualification match, and if he loses, he’s out of the Royal Rumble match on Sunday. Bryan opens the show, and Ryback, Erick Rowan and Dolph Ziggler return after John Cena got their jobs back on Monday.
MATCH RESULTS:
- DOLPH ZIGGLER VS. BAD NEWS BARRETT — Ziggler has to beat the Intercontinental champ to qualify for Sunday’s Royal Rumble. It’s a non-title bout. Ziggler hits a drop kick, then lands a Zig Zag, then the pin.
- RYBACK VS. RUSEV — After Ryback hits a spine buster Rusev escapes the ring to the floor. Ryback roughs him up on the floor then gets back in the ring at the 9 count. Rusev is not so fortunate and loses the match via count-out. With the win, Ryback qualifies for the Royal Rumble.
- BRIE BELLA VS. NAOMI — Nattie and Paige are doing guest commentary. Brie counters a high kick attempt and smashes Naomi face first to the canvas, then the pin.
- LUKE HARPER VS. ERICK ROWAN — Side kick to the face and a big clothesline from Harper flatten Rowan. Then the pin. Rowan fails to qualify for Royal Rumble.
- DANIEL BRYAN VS. KANE — Bryan hits Kane with a big kick to the face, then the pin. A big royal rumble-esque fight breaks out afterward. Ziggler, Ambrose, Ryback, Reigns and Bryan are left standing.
