The UFC Fight Night 50 event took place on Friday night in Connecticut and saw Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza take out Gegard Mousasi in the main event via guillotine choke. The co-main event saw huge betting underdog Ben Rothwell knockout Alstair Overeem in the very first round. Also, Matt Mitrione knocked out Derrick Lewis in less than one minute, and Joe Lauzon opened up a cut the size of the Grand Canyon on Michael Chiesa to earn the TKO victory via doctor stoppage.
