The Metamoris submission only jiu-jitsu event took place on Saturday night and featured many of the world’s best grapplers. However, one of the most anticipated rematches in grappling history took place in the main event when Royler Gracie looked to avenge a previous defeat to Eddie Bravo which took place in 2003 at the ADCC submission wrestling championships.

Bravo submitted Gracie with a triangle choke which was a huge upset at the time. The Metamoris event is a win by submission, with no points system unlike other submission grappling tournaments. The rematch technically ended in a draw, but did Bravo outshine Gracie in the 20 minute match? See for yourself below:
