Tommy Ray Cornett and company are set to hold their 10th event under the Bluegrass Brawl banner. Heritage Hall in Lexington will play host to some great regional action as fighters from across the area come in with hopes of walking away with a win.
Cornett joined BluegrassMMA Live Tuesday night to talk about promoting the event and focusing on reaching a broader audience moving into 2014.
“We are adding more camera’s to the production. We want to really step up our videos…. in 2014 we are looking to host a pay per view, add commentary and extend our reach.”
The first nine shows have been a learning experience. Cornett cites marketing and learning how to get the brand name out as one of his biggest struggles He has always hoped that Bluegrass Brawl would be a place where young up and comers would get an opportunity to fight and move up the ranks. He has fighters from across the south on the card for tonight and will be bringing in athletes from Canada in 2014.
