Ben Henderson, mma rankings, ProMMAnow.comUFC 164 officially has its main event when UFC lightweight champion Ben Henderson will look to defend his title against the quickly surging TJ Grant.

UFC 164 will take place on August 31 at the BMO Center Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Henderson (19-2) is coming off his third title defense since defeating Frankie Edgar for he second time at UFC 150. He defeated former Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez in his last outing at the UFC on FOX 7 event in April via split decision.

Grant (21-5) is coming off a first round destruction over Gray Maynard at UFC 160. It was his fifth consecutive win since dropping down to the lightweight division, and he has stopped three of those five opponents via either submission or TKO/KO.

This will be Henderson’s first appearance on a PPV event since UFC 150 after competing on UFC on FOX cards in his last two outings.
