Sunday night is upon us and so is a new round of interviews and conversation tonight on Pro MMA Now Radio. Several big happenings this weekend as MFC 37 took place Friday night in Edmonton. We were on hand for V3Fights in Nashville and have the recap of both events as well as two interviews on tap.
Up first is Nah-Shon Burrell. Burrell is making his second appearance inside the octagon at UFC 160 on May 25th. Burrell meets Stephen Thompson. Burrell steps in for an injured Amir Sadollah and the fight will be aired live on Facebook. Burrell is a winner in 7 of his last 8 outings and looks to continue his success in the UFC.
Interesting is one way of putting the turn of events since Friday for XFC lightweight Scott Holtzman. On Friday it was announced that Nick Newell had refused to sign a contract to fight in the main event of XFC 24 in Tampa. Newell has since been stripped of his title and released from the company. Holtzman awaits a replacement for the fight which will still be for the title. Holtzman took the time out earlier today and we will air the recorded interview tonight.
