A new bout has been added to the UFC 161 card as Alexis Davis (13-5) faces Rosi Sexton (13-2) in a women’s bantamweight matchup. The event is set to take place at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on June 15.

UFC officials confirmed the bout earlier today.

UFC 161 will feature a headline bout between current UFC interim bantamweight champion Renan Barao and title challenger Eddie Wineland. The main card will air LIVE on PPV with the prelims expected to air on FX and Facebook.

Alexis Davis is currently riding a two fight winning streak, most recently defeating Shayna Baszler via third round submission at Invicta FC 4 in January. Prior to that she scored a second round submission victory over Hitomi Akano at Invicta FC 2 in July 2012, and dropped a decision loss against Sarah Kaufman at the “Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” event in March 2012. Davis will no doubt look to extend her winning streak to three with a good performance against Sexton.

Meanwhile, Rosi Sexton has won her last three fights in a row, most recently defeating Aisling Daly via unanimous decision at Cage Warriors 47 in June 2012. Prior to that she scored a unanimous decision victory over Roxanne Modafferi at Cage Warriors 40 in February 2011, and  a second round TKO win over Sally Krumdiack at Cage Warriors 39 in November 2010. Sexton has the chance to make a good impression in her UFC debut with a big win over Davis on June 15.
