UFC 160The UFC 160 event that’s set for May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, is quickly taking shape although we are months away from the event.

The UFC heavyweight title fight between champion Cain Velasquez and challenger Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva will be the main event.

The co-main event will feature a heavyweight grudge match between former champion Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem.

The preliminary fights are expected to air on FX and Facebook.

The main event will be a rematch from UFC 146 which saw Velasquez pummel Silva to win via first round TKO. Velasquez was able to take Silva down almost immediately and opened a huge cut that virtually blinded Silva while Velasquez reigned down punches and elbows. Silva will be out to prove that the fight was a fluke win much like Velasquez did the second time he fought Junior dos Santos.

The UFC 160 card thus far is below:

  • Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva (UFC Heavyweight Title Fight)
  • Junior dos Santos vs. Alistair Overeem
  • Glover Teixeira vs. Ryan Bader
  • Gray Maynard vs. TJ Grant
  • Amir Sadollah vs. Stephen Thompson
  • Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Abel Trujillo
  • Donald Cerrone vs. KJ Noons
  • Pat Barry vs. Shawn Jordan
  • Jeremy Stephens vs. Estevan Payan
  • Gunnar Nelson vs. Mike Pyle

There will probably be one or two more fights added to the event. Be sure to make ProMMAnow.com your home for all of your UFC news and coverage.
