On the heels of World Series of Fighting‘s (WSOF) inaugural event this past November which was highlighted by Andrei Arlovski’s first round TKO win over Devin Cole in the main event, the Las Vegas based mixed martial arts promotion has entered into a three-year partnership with NBC Sports Network.
The agreement calls for a minimum of six live WSOF events to broadcast each year on NBC Sports Network, which reaches a reported 80 million homes. Additional World Series of Fighting events will stream live on NBCSports.com.
World Series of Fighting President and six-time world kickboxing champion, Ray Sefo commented:
“We are thrilled to call NBC Sports Network the home of World Series of Fighting. This partnership will allow us to build the World Series of Fighting brand of world-class MMA competition before a dedicated national audience of passionate sports fans and place our athletes on the big stage that they deserve.”
The next World Series of Fighting event, WSOF 2, will broadcast live on NBC Sports Network on Saturday, March 23 at 10 p.m. ET from Revel Resorts & Casino in Atlantic City, N.J. A bantamweight bout between Tyson Nam and Marlon Moraes has already been tapped for the event.
