The February 23rd event featuring the first ever women’s MMA bout in the UFC will have tickets going on sale December 21st. UFC 157 will be headlined by the UFC bantamweight women’s bout between the champion Ronda Rousey and challenger Liz Carmouche.

Ronda is the real deal,” UFC President Dana White said. “She’s nasty. She’s mean. She’s like Chuck Liddell. She goes out there and tries to finish her opponents. And Carmouche is tough as nails, too. She was a Marine and she’s got great ground-and-pound. I look forward to having the women join the UFC.”

The co-main event will consist  of a light heavyweight bout between former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Dan Henderson and former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida.

Also, a bantamweight fight between former WEC champion Urijah Faber and MMA veteran Ivan Menjivar will take place on the card. Faber won the first meeting via disqualification back in 2006, so this will be an opportunity to settle the score there.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT, and are priced at $350, $250, $150, $100, $75 and $50. Fans can purchase tickets at www.ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster retail locations and by phone at (800) 745-3000. Tickets will be available at the Honda Center Box Office beginning Saturday, December 22.
