Apex Sports Agency (ASA) announced that one of its charges, former Strikeforce lightweight Lyle “Fancy Pants” Beerbohm, has signed with the burgeoning World Series of Fighting (WSOF) promotion. The World Series of Fighting promotion is expected to hold its inaugural show in November which is slated to air on NBC, formerly known as the Versus network.
Beerbohm (19-2) is a Strikeforce and EliteXC veteran with 16 finishes in his 19 career wins. He holds notable wins over the likes of Marcus Aurelio, Duane Ludwig, and Rafaello Oliveira. Beerbohm is also known for his very bright colored pants that he wears during MMA matches which is wear his “Fancy Pants” nickname originated.
Beerbohm commented on signing with WSOF:
