Inside the Cage Radio with host Greg DeLong was back on the ESPN 1450 airwaves in Reno Tuesday. Greg recapped the “Strikeforce: Barnett vs. Cormier” event that took place over the weekend in San Jose with Daniel Cormier defeating Josh Barnett in the finals. Greg attended the event at the HP Pavilion and gives his first-hand account of all the action.

Greg also discussed Bellator 69 which took place this past Friday in Louisiana and featured the Season 6 middleweight tournament finals between Maiquel Falcao and Andreas Spang.

ESPN MMA journalist Josh Gross joined Greg on the show and shared his thoughts on the Gilbert Melendez vs. Josh Thomson scoring, and the future of Strikeforce’s relationship with Showtime. Josh also weighed in on Jon Jones’ DWI charge, Chael Sonnen’s Therapeutic Use Exemption and Nick Diaz’s suspension by the NSAC.
