Rafael dos Anjos (left) and Gleison Tibau will face one another in their home country of Brazil in November.

Brazilian lightweights Rafael dos Anjos (15-5) and Gleison Tibau (23-7) have verbally agreed to fight at UFC 139 on Nov. 19 at UFC 139 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif.

UFC President Dana White confirmed the match-up on Tuesday via the company website.

UFC 139 will mark the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s first visit to San Jose, and to the HP Pavilion, the former home of recently-acquired sister promotion Strikeforce.

Dos Anjos is coming off a first round knockout win over George Sotiropoulos at UFC 132 last month. Prior to that he suffered a third round submission loss to Clay Guida at UFC 117 in August of last year.

Tibau has won his last two fights, first a split decision over Kurt Pellegrino at UFC 128 in March, and most recently, a second round submission win over Rafaello Oliveira at UFC 130 in May — picking up “submission of the night” in the process.

A bantamweight bout between Urijah Faber and Brian Bowles is also tapped for 139. Stay tuned to ProMMAnow.com’s Upcoming Events page as the fight card comes together.
